Tony Crupi lives in Black River, New York.

He owns this 1960 DeSoto Adventurer sedan, the Batmobile!  An unrestored, unmolested original with less than 44 thousand miles.   DeSoto was a division of the Chrysler Corporation until it was folded in November of 1960.  This car was one of only 5746 of this style made in DeSoto's last full model year.....they were not common when new, how many do you think exist today?  Note the pushbutton automatic transmission, a Chrysler feature of the mid-50's thru mid-60's.   The chrome alone must weigh more than some of today's cars!   The design is known as "The Forward Look" and was created by iconic auto stylist Virgil Exner.
