Charles Bickel III lives in Adams NY.

This car is a 1978 Cadillac Phaeton in good condition, with about 106,000 miles on it. This car was bought new in 1978 by my grandfather and I inherited it in 1990. The vehicle has been in the family since it was new, and is original as far as I know. The cloth top is in excellent shape with no tears nor stains, as is the leather interior and carpet. The vehicle has been garage kept always and has never seen the snow. The vehicle has been kept in my garage since 1990 and has been run some, and driven a little. The vehicle was last driven about 2 years ago. This would be a great project car as it needs little besides a paint job. I have small children and do not have the extra money to do it right so I am parting with it. There is some paint chipping and a few minor spots of surface rust. There are no rust holes and the floorboards and trunk are in great shape. The leather seats are in great shape and the power seats work. This car needs very minor TLC to be in great driving condition.

The story I have been told is there were only 300 of this model produced in 1978, with some being brown with a dark brown top, and the rest white with a blue top, which I have. I have been told this model was changed for 1979, so there were only 300 of this configuration made. I have also been told that this model in this year were supposed to be dealer demo's, and were not to be sold, however one was accidentally sold to my grandfather. If you have any further questions or need more pictures, contact me and I will do my best.
